GRIND COAST / FIELD NOTES
About Grind Coast and our editorial approach
An independent release-day money briefing. How we select sources, distinguish reporting from advice, and update our pages.
What is Grind Coast?
Grind Coast is an independent project preparing a GTA 6 release-day money briefing. The purpose is to make the first decisions easier to understand: where money comes from, what spending changes and what risks deserve attention.
Signing up requests one e-mail on release day. It does not create an account or subscribe you to a pre-launch newsletter. Read the privacy policy.
We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
Who writes these pages?
These pages are published under the Grind Coast editorial name. They are independent summaries and commentary, not official announcements. Source links and review dates are shown so you can inspect the evidence directly.
How we separate evidence from interpretation
- Official announcement
- A statement published by Rockstar, such as a release date or character profile.
- Reported in an interview
- A mechanic described in a named outlet’s interview or preview. It remains pre-release reporting unless we establish otherwise.
- Our interpretation
- A practical question or possible consequence drawn from the evidence. It is not presented as a developer statement or a tested outcome.
- Tested at launch
- A label reserved for something checked in the released game. The current pages do not claim final-build testing.
Sources used in this edition
- Rockstar Games: GTA VI — release information.
- Rockstar Games: Only in Leonida — character profiles and imagery.
- Flow Games: Rob Nelson interview, August 27, 2026 — reported economy mechanics.
Updates and corrections
We update the review date when the substance of a page changes. We replace claims when better evidence contradicts them, and keep source links next to the relevant text. An unavailable source is not a reason to upgrade a claim to “confirmed”.
Before launch, we do not publish guaranteed earnings, invented player counts or testimonials. A useful answer can also be that a detail still needs verification.
